Dan was considered across the nation to be a master of Musical Comedy. A native Atlantan and graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Youmans began his career as a young dancer with Six Flags, and Theatre of the Stars. After touring the country with numerous musicals, including “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Hello Dolly”, “Music Man”, “Cabaret”, and “Man of La Mancha”, Dan returned to Atlanta to establish Dan & Company Studios and the Atlanta Jazz Theatre Dance Company. For 40+ years,  while directing the Studio and the Dance Company, Mr. Youmans also staged and choreographed numerous musical events, including television and arena, throughout the Southeast. He was lead Choreographer for the Closing Ceremonies for the Paralympics in 1992 in Barcelona, Spain, and for the Atlanta Paralympics in 1996. Dan has also created choreography for the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Mt. Paran North, and has served as Director of Sacred Dance for the new Performing Arts Academy of the Salvation Army in Suwannee, Ga. Dan's legacy lives on through our dancers as we continue his vision here at Dan & Company.

Tina began her training in Atlanta with Dan and Company Studios. She performed with our Atlanta Jazz Theatre company for 10 years. She also spent a year as a company member of International Ballet Rotaru, training in classical ballet. While in Atlanta, she danced in numerous industrial shows, fashion shows, and as a dancer in the Miss Georgia Pageant. She began teaching and choreographing around the Southeast by the age of 17, and teaching and judging for Dance Masters of America at age 18.

Tina performed at Walt Disney World as a full time cast member and Equity performer for three years where she was a featured Explosion Dancer at “Pleasure Island” at Downtown Disney. Tina began work as a choreographer and assistant choreographer for many National industrial shows and performances, including Karastan, Headdress Ball, and Disney Conventions. Since returning to Atlanta, she continues teaching at Dan and Company and focuses on choreography, most recently for Walt Disney World Audition tour and the Disney/Spelman Theatre project for the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Along with running the studio, Tina also manages our Atlanta Jazz Theatre performing company, where her primary focus is it’s dancers, choreographers, concerts, competitions, and future.

Katrina grew up training with Dan & Company and Atlanta Jazz Theatre and has been a giving back as an instructor for over a decade. A veteran of musical theatre, she has performed with City Springs Theatre Company and worked with legendary Broadway director and choreographer Susan Stroman in the Broadway and Las Vegas productions of The Producers, sharing the stage with Tony Danza and David Hasselhoff. Katrina has performed around the world as a Cabaret Vocalist with Azamara Cruises, featuring her own “One-Woman Cabaret,” and in Las Vegas as a featured singer and showgirl in Don Arden’s long-running Jubilee! Her choreography has been featured throughout the Atlanta area, including with Atlanta Jazz Theatre, Roswell Dance Starz, MZ Stageworks, and Dunwoody High School. She is also the former Show Director of Roswell Youth Theatre and has a longstanding voiceover career, including work as an On-Air Promos voice for several Paramount Media Networks channels. Katrina holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from The Catholic University of America and has studied and performed improv and sketch comedy with Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, and The Groundlings in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

Claire Korfas is a Georgia native and grew up as a company member with the Atlanta Jazz Theatre from ages 11-18, training and competing in various styles under current director Tina Youmans Hidalgo and Dan Youmans. She then went on to study and receive her BFA in Dance from the University of Georgia, and her BS in Human Development and Family Science. Once moving back to Atlanta, she rejoined the Atlanta Jazz Theatre as company faculty and continued to pursue professional dance by joining contemporary companies and participating in several projects in the city. Along with her love of dance, she found a deep passion in working with individuals on the autism spectrum and received her masters degree from Arizona State University in 2024. She currently works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and as a choreographer and head faculty member with our AJT company. 

Emily Stinson is a 2013 alumnus of Dan and Company/Atlanta Jazz Theatre. After attending Georgia College & State University and studying dance pedagogy and music education, she has returned to her home studio to share her passion for dance technique. Emily is honored to continue the legacy of the many Dan & Company teachers that shaped her dance journey, and she hopes to continue to inspire a love a dance in her students as her teachers inspired a love of dance in her. 

Peter Tucci began his training in Atlanta Georgia, and is also an alumni of the Atlanta Jazz Theatre. He went on to compete nationally around the country with New York City Dance Alliance and other top competitions. He also performed as a dancer/actor in the European production of Grease and Peter Pan. Dancing professionally in both Los Angeles and NYC, he booked numerous dancing and acting jobs seen on television. He continued performing, and teaching both in LA and New York , as well as creating his own brand of dance fitness classes for major companies. He has been choreographing on the Atlanta Jazz Theatre as a guest choreographer for many years. Now that Peter is bringing his passion and talent for teaching back to Atlanta,  we are so happy to have him back!

Rose Castell was born in North Carolina and started dancing at four years old. During high school she trained with the Charlotte Ballet Academy under esteemed teachers including Patricia McBride, Lazlo Berdo, and Katie Mayo. There she had the opportunity to perform in Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux’s original choreography in Charlotte Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Rose continued her training at The University of North Carolina School for the Arts. There she trained in the top level under Jennet Zerbe and Laura Martin. She had many performance opportunities including Serenade, Symphony Concertante, Firebird, and several contemporary
works. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship, and a certification in teaching Pilates. After graduating, Rose moved to Georgia to join The Georgia Ballet as a company dancer and is
currently dancing her third season with The Georgia Ballet.

Audrey Crabtree holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University. She is an Acrobatic Arts certified instructor. Her performance work includes the theme park stages of Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Six Flags Magic Mountain dancing at Howl-O-Scream, Christmastown, Looney Tunes Kids Club, Fright Fest, and Holiday in the Park. Living in Los Angeles, Audrey performed with the Speak Hill Dance Project, City Ballet of Los Angeles, Amaterasu Dance Company, LA Unbound, and J Sutta. Moving back to Atlanta, Audrey worked with Watershed Dance Theatre & Esthete Collective, performing three seasons with ALA Dance and six seasons with Sideways Contemporary Dance Company. Audrey is a current company member with Monica Hogan Danceworks, since 2021, and Fuerta Dance Company, since 2016. A dance educator mother of two, she strives to develop technical skill in dancers alongside a love for movement and expressive art.

Becki Galatas Chernoff began dancing at age three at Dan & Company Dance Studios under the direction of Dan and Rhonda Youmans. With more than 30 years of teaching experience, Becki has dedicated her life to dance, performance, and inspiring the next generation of dancers. At 15, Becki began her professional performance career as a dancer on a local television show before joining Atlanta Jazz Theatre. She was honored to perform in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, assisting Dan Youmans with choreography. In 2000, she continued her professional career as a dancer for the NFL Super Bowl halftime show, working directly with Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias. Becki also spent three years performing in Las Vegas and has studied with renowned dance educators including Frank Hatchett, Sheila Barker, and Kenneth Green. As a teacher, Becki brings a positive, energetic, and encouraging approach to every class. She strives to create an environment where dancers feel supported and empowered to discover their unique abilities, confidence, and potential both in dance and in life. Becki lives in Woodstock, Georgia, with her three children, Jake, Zoe, and Josh. Outside the studio, she works as a paraprofessional in an adaptive elementary classroom, supporting students with special needs. She feels incredibly fortunate to combine her love of dance with her passion for helping children.

Loren DeLuccia has been dancing for 14 years and is a member of the Senior Pre-Pro Company at Dan and Company studios. Currently a senior at Riverwood High School, Loren loves helping younger dancers build confidence, make friends, and find joy in movement. She wants everyone to leave her class feeling proud, inspired, and excited for next time! When she is not in the studio, she is an active member of her school's theatre department. Loren has trained with Dan and Company for eight years and is incredibly excited for what’s to come!

Chelsea Rousseau Henson grew up in Marietta, GA and is a Dan & Co. Alumni! She also attended Atlanta Ballet and Graduated early from Pebblebrook High School for the Performing Arts as a dance major and vocal and drama minor. She went on to college at University of the Arts in Philadelphia and quickly signed with the Bloc Agency in New York City. After a short time in NYC, she was hired as an Actors Equity Performer at Walt Disney World where she performed in Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan Rocks, Christmas Parades and other televised events. During her time in Florida, Chelsea was also hired for many ‘gigs’ around the nation. She later became the Female Dance Captain for the inaugural cast of the Disney Fantasy where she worked with various professionals including Neil Patrick Harris and Spencer Liff of SYTYCD! After traveling the East/West Caribbean, she took her travels to Europe where she performed with Norwegian Cruise Lines as a dancer and aerialist. She has also been trained in and has taught Ballroom dance. Chelsea couldn’t be more excited to be back at Dan and Co. with a dance “family” that’s always stayed close to her heart!

A creative director, choreographer, dancer and actor has been active in the professional entertainment industry for just over 15 years. He got his "big break" as he was a participant on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew in 2010 with his crew Royal Flush that he created along with his younger brother Jared James. Exposure from placing in the Top 8 on America's Best Dance Crew propelled him into afull fledged professional dancing career that gradually led to many other opportunities in the entertainment world. Aaron has graced the stage with many big names such as Pharrell, Kanye West, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Baby Keem, T-Pain ,Jacob Latimore and more. Aaron has choreographed for many artists such as Jack Harlow, Est Gee and Lecrae just to name a few, as well as balancing an emerging acting career as you can find Aaron in many movies, television series & commercials currently airing on many major networks and streaming platforms. Aaron continues to expand his career as an emerging leader in Atlanta's quickly expanding entertainment industry and loves being able to share what he learns with many young performers who wish to follow in similar footsteps.

After a 14-year career as a Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse, Teri traded in her scrubs for a front-row seat to the world of dance! In her "retirement job," she manages the front desk and help keep the studio running smoothly. Whether she's welcoming dancers and families, directing students to their classes, maintaining order during busy studio hours, or simply being a familiar face when someone needs help, her goal is to create a safe, organized, and welcoming space where every student feels comfortable, supported, and ready to dance.

Hana Odeh is an Atlanta, Georgia native who grew up dancing at Dan & Company/Atlanta Jazz Theatre from ages 11 to 18. She is currently a senior Dance major at Kennesaw State University, where she has been a member of the KSU Dance Company for three years and is also a member of the KSU Dance Team. Hana is excited to return to Dan & Company as a teacher and share her love of dance with the next generation of students.

Cat O'Neill was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She began dancing at the age of 3 and joined the Roswell Dance Starz company at 10. As a competitive dancer, Cat has trained and performed at numerous dance competitions, conventions, recitals, and showcases. She has performed at Walt Disney World and on a Royal Caribbean International cruise ship. Cat has been a dedicated dance teacher since high school; she continued teaching and choreographing throughout her college education. For the past 7 years, she has been a Roswell Performing Arts Instructor, serving as both an assistant and a teacher. She continues to further her dance education and training while sharing her passion for dance with her students. Cat is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, and lyrical. She is passionate about creating a fun, positive, and engaging learning environment where young dancers can grow in both skill and confidence. She is excited to continue this journey of teaching with Dan & Company! 

Iris VanWieren began dancing at four years old and has grown up with a deep love for ballet and the performing arts. She trained at Buford School of Ballet and Ballet Conservatory of North Georgia before graduating from Ballet 5:8’s Trainee Program, where she became certified in three levels of Vaganova ballet technique. Iris has performed professionally with Ballet Hartford and The Georgia Ballet, as well as a guest artist in Swan Lake. With over six years of teaching experience and five years of choreography experience, she enjoys teaching ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, and more. Iris is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at Kennesaw State University. She loves helping students discover their own artistry while building confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong love of dance.

Lenai Alexis Wilkerson hails from Washington, D.C. where she attended the Baltimore School for the Arts, under the direction of Norma Pera. Lenai graduated from the inaugural class at the University of Southern California as a Glorya Kaufman scholar with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Political Science. Additionally, she received her MA in Organizational Leadership and Learning from George Washington University’s School of Education and Human Development. Lenai has danced professionally with Ballet Hispánico, where she toured internationally for three seasons; Cincinnati Ballet, expanding her community engagement in organizations such as Black Art Speaks; and most recently with Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre, where she also serves as a mentor for the Dance Canvas’ Catalyst scholarship program and Artistic and Creative Director for their community arts initiative Wabi Sabi Terminus. Wilkerson has performed works by choreographers including George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Jiří Kylián, Martha Graham, Barak Marshall, Azure Barton, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Jennifer Archibald, Annalee Traylor, Jimmy Orrante, d.Sabela Grimes, Tara Lee and Dwight Rhoden. Additionally, she has assisted Patrick Corbin in setting a Paul Taylor work for Miami City Ballet and had her NYC choreographic debut in the summer of 2024 with Queer the Ballet. She has trained seasonally with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Bolshoi Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow and with legendary ballerina Suzanne Farrell. Wilkerson was awarded the JarriTODOS dance artist grant in 2022, was a YAGP Top 12 finalist and was one of the seven 2016-17 dance scholars to be awarded a scholarship from Nigel Lythgoe’s Dizzy Feet Foundation. With aspirations to achieve more in life, she teaches and leads students all over the Atlanta metropolis on the premise of longevity, life lessons, and learning.
